How to reach me

No assistant, no booking robot, no ticket number — just Kaylee, answering within one business day.

Where I cook

Charleston, SC

I cook in your home or rental — there's no restaurant to visit, which is rather the point. Most weeks that's somewhere in the Lowcountry. Plenty of weeks it isn't.

  • Charleston
  • Mount Pleasant
  • Sullivan's Island
  • Isle of Palms
  • Folly Beach
  • Kiawah Island
  • Daniel Island
  • Summerville

Charleston is home base, not the boundary — a good share of the year is spent cooking somewhere else entirely. Tell me where the table is.

The concierge desk

Everything people ask first

Do you cook in my kitchen, or bring your own?

Yours. I arrive with the groceries, the equipment I need, and a plan. A standard home kitchen is plenty — if yours has quirks, tell me at booking and I'll work around them.

How far in advance should I book?

Four to six weeks is comfortable, and bachelorette weekends in spring go faster than that. If your date is sooner, still ask — cancellations happen and I'd rather hear from you.

Can you handle allergies and dietary restrictions?

Yes, and I'd rather over-plan than guess. Send me the full list when you inquire — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, shellfish, whatever the group chat says. It shapes the menu from the start rather than becoming a sad side plate.

Do you do the dishes?

I leave your kitchen cleaner than I found it. Every time. This is the single most common thing clients tell their friends about.

How does pricing work?

Per guest, based on the menu, the party size, and how involved the service is. You'll get a written quote before anything is confirmed, with no surprise line items after.

Do you do weekly meal prep?

No — I'm not a meal-prep service, and containers in the fridge aren't really what I'm for. What I do is cook one dinner properly, in your kitchen, with everyone in the room. If you want the week handled, I'm happy to point you to someone who does exactly that.

Where do you travel?

All of Charleston and the surrounding Lowcountry — Mount Pleasant, Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms, Folly, Kiawah, Daniel Island, Summerville. Further afield is a conversation, and often a yes.

Can you bring wine?

I can't sell you alcohol, but I'll happily write the pairings and tell you exactly what to buy. Send me the menu and I'll send you a shopping list.

What happens after I send the reply card?

It comes straight to me — not a booking system, not an assistant. I read it, and I write back within one business day with menu ideas and a quote. Nothing is confirmed until we've talked.
